Senior Staff Engineer (3.3-DELIVERY) (Digital Engineering): Managing end-to-end delivery of guest-facing digital products in China with an accent on stakeholder alignment, vendor governance, localization, and compliance. Focus on balancing global product standards with China-specific mini-programs, payment methods, data privacy requirements, and cross-region delivery dependencies.
Location: Shanghai preferred; Xi'an also acceptable, China

What you will do
- Manage digital projects across the full lifecycle, from requirements and planning through launch and post-production follow-up.
- Align marketing, revenue, loyalty, hotel operations, legal, information security, and global headquarters IT stakeholders across China and international teams.
- Govern technical outsourcing vendors and development, testing, and design partners, including statements of work, estimates, milestones, risks, and quality.
- Gather business requirements, facilitate workshops, refine user stories, and deliver localized digital products for China.
- Drive code reviews, testing strategy, UAT acceptance, risk mitigation, incident follow-up, and root-cause retrospectives.
- Improve project management workflows and maintain reusable documentation, templates, lessons learned, and knowledge bases.
Requirements
- Mandarin speaking ability is required.
- Good English communication and stakeholder-management alignment are required.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and dependencies across teams or regions.
- Experience with outsourcing vendor governance, delivery tracking, risk management, and defect closure.
- Knowledge of requirements gathering, localization delivery, testing, UAT, information security, and data privacy.
