What you will do
- Own the quantitative analysis supporting Commercial Strategy decisions.
- Build market and opportunity sizing models, scenario analyses, sensitivity analyses, and financial structures.
- Research market data, competitive intelligence, macro trends, new markets, partnerships, and monetisation models.
- Translate complex analysis into concise charts, narratives, one-pagers, and recommendations for executives and frontline teams.
- Partner with commercial, finance, product, and Commercial Strategy teams to move initiatives from planning to execution.
- Meet farmers and ranchers to ground analytical work in real-world operating needs.
Requirements
- Experience in a quantitative or analytical role such as strategy consulting, investment banking, FP&A, data analytics, or internal strategy.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and strong financial modelling ability.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong commercial curiosity, attention to detail, ownership, and clear communication skills.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments such as startups, consulting, high-growth SaaS, or agtech.
- Ability to work from the Auckland office as part of an office-first culture.
Nice to have
- Exposure to agtech, SaaS, or hardware businesses.
- Comfort with SQL or business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau.
