China Desk Head (Corporate Banking)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategy for Chinese corporate clients operating or investing in Central and Eastern Europe.
• Build senior-level relationships with Chinese corporates across Poland and the CEE region.
• Identify new business opportunities and support clients throughout their investment and growth journeys.
• Connect clients with ING’s international network and product expertise across lending, transaction services, financial markets, and sector teams.
• Drive commercial growth while maintaining strong risk management, compliance, and sustainable business practices.
• Represent ING within the Asian business community and collaborate with stakeholders across countries, cultures, and business environments.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• More than five years of experience in corporate banking or international business development.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and originating new business opportunities.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to execute growth strategies.
• Deep understanding of corporate banking products, financial markets, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
• Fluent English required; Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
