Communications Director - APAC (AI)

What you will do

• Shape the external presence and positioning of senior leaders in partnership with the VP of Communications.
• Prepare executives for media interviews, keynotes, global forums, and other high-stakes engagements.
• Develop company-wide internal communication strategies and advise C-suite leaders on internal communications.
• Build proactive media strategies, manage journalist relationships, and coordinate inbound media opportunities.
• Evaluate and prioritise events, speaking opportunities, and invitations based on strategic value and audience relevance.
• Coordinate communications, marketing, leadership, internal teams, and agencies around high-impact opportunities.

Requirements

• Significant experience in executive communications, internal communications, media relations, or strategic communications within a technology or high-growth environment.
• Proven experience working directly with C-suite leaders, ideally a CEO or founder.
• Strong judgment and the ability to prioritise high-impact opportunities.
• Confidence and credibility when influencing senior stakeholders and pushing back where necessary.
• Experience managing high-profile events and global forums.
• Deep understanding of media landscapes and executive positioning.
