Technology Development Program - Cybersecurity Track Summer Internship

Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three onsite days per week

Salary: $25.00–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support cybersecurity work across technical and investigative teams.
• Contribute to threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation.
• Analyze suspicious activity in a Security Operations Center and support forensic investigations.
• Help engineer secure systems that protect sensitive health data and critical infrastructure.
• Participate in structured technical, leadership, and business curriculum with mentors and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for employment in the United States and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline focused on security practices.
• Basic understanding of network security, threat analysis, risk management, and security configurations.
• Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Splunk or the ELK Stack, McAfee, and Symantec.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript, along with analytical, problem-solving, communication, and continuous-learning skills.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Basic understanding of Scrum, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
