ISS Integration & Certification Senior Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end integration and certification process for Nyx missions to the International Space Station.
• Develop and manage the certification plan in alignment with NASA requirements, project milestones, and schedules.
• Coordinate with NASA and ESA on ISS integration, certification, life-cycle reviews, and joint activities.
• Implement the Nyx/ISS Bilateral Integration and Verification Plan and coordinate related data deliverables.
• Support safety processes, hazard control verification, and verification and validation closure.
• Manage spacecraft integration risks and prepare Nyx for major ISS readiness and acceptance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in ISS Visiting Vehicle integration, operations, or certification is highly valued.
• Knowledge of spacecraft systems engineering, safety, and operations products and processes.
• Ability to integrate diverse technical inputs, develop forward plans, and collaborate with technical teams, government employees, and customers.
