What you will do
- Ensure platform reliability through high-availability setups, backup and restore procedures, disaster recovery planning, monitoring, alerting, and observability.
- Deploy and maintain services across AWS, other cloud environments, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Operate Kubernetes workloads with Helm and Argo CD GitOps workflows, and contribute to developer platform capabilities such as Backstage portals and service catalogs.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks with Terraform, Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
- Manage PostgreSQL on Amazon RDS, including backup, tuning, and version upgrades, as well as infrastructure patching and upgrades.
- Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, support cloud migration cutovers, provide third-level support, and perform incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services, Linux on AWS, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Practical experience with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps workflows, and Argo CD.
- Experience operating PostgreSQL, preferably on Amazon RDS, and implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with IAM and SSO, including Keycloak and OIDC/SAML integrations, plus Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with incident management, third-level support, cloud migration, patch and upgrade management, Git, artifact repositories, Python, and shell scripting.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with platform engineering concepts and Backstage developer portals.
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript and frontend development for Backstage plugin customization.
- Familiarity with code quality practices and automated testing.
