Federal Tax Associate (Fall 2027/Winter 2028)

Location: Minneapolis, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required, with reliable transportation.

Salary: $70,400–$84,000 annually.

What you will do

• Work on team engagements covering a wide range of tax specialty areas.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Apply tax regulations and accounting pronouncements to client work.
• Build working relationships with clients by understanding their businesses and challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Accounting major.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Progress toward successful completion of the CPA exam.
