Lead Frontend Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of critical components for digital engineering products, with a primary focus on UI solutions.
• Build scalable, resilient and continuously available cloud-based platforms for corporate cash management.
• Work across the software lifecycle with product owners, visual designers, business users, operations teams and backend engineers.
• Drive code quality, automation, testability and engineering standards across the team.
• Develop and mentor engineers while contributing to product vision, roadmap planning and engineering culture.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience with modern UI programming languages, including JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience building modern UI products with React and leading engineering teams delivering complex products with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience architecting and designing full-stack applications in AWS.
• Experience with high-availability, mission-critical systems, including active/active and blue-green deployment methods.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, databases, and financial services or transaction banking is valuable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node, Webpack, MobX, Redux, Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Practical experience with containers and Agile models such as Scrum or Kanban.
