Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, Poland. The salary range for this role applies to residents of the EU in the specified country or countries.

Salary: 272,000–408,000 PLN base salary per year, excluding bonuses, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the technical approach for validating software created by AI agents and turn it into an actionable architecture.
• Prototype feedback mechanisms that identify the gap between passing tests and software that works as intended.
• Develop language-aware validation approaches for Rust, Ruby, and Go under a shared definition of trusted agentic development.
• Design and build mid-loop feedback systems that help agents self-correct toward working software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive adoption, measure trust and validation quality, and improve the platform.
• Set technical direction, review designs, and help teammates develop their technical judgment.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building real software with AI agents, ideally across multiple programming languages.
• Strong understanding of why agent-generated output can pass tests yet fail in production, with concrete ideas for closing this validation gap.
• Ability to design systems rather than optimize a single testing framework, choosing between general and language-specific solutions.
• Experience prototyping to learn and shipping working software.
• Ability to influence engineers across an organization through working code and sound technical reasoning.
• Strong written communication and alignment with collaboration, iteration, and transparency in an asynchronous environment.
