Data Engineer Position (Python)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or from the office

What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines and Airflow DAG workflows.
• Prepare and transform data for analytics and business use cases.
• Work with ClickHouse and MySQL, optimize queries, and analyze execution plans.
• Integrate partner services and external data sources through APIs and FTP.
• Design data-processing microservices for high-load systems processing terabytes of data.
• Contribute to architecture and propose solutions that improve performance and scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on query optimization experience.
• Experience with ClickHouse and/or MySQL, OLAP systems, and performance profiling.
• Experience designing Python frameworks and libraries.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow, Pandas, Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with APIs, FTP, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus the ability to independently select technical solutions.
