Senior IBM BAW Developer (IBM BAW)

Location: Hybrid, based in Lisbon, Portugal, with office attendance twice per week. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Develop and configure solutions using IBM Business Automation Workflow and IBM Case Manager.
• Model processes, service flows, BPDs, and coaches in IBM Process Designer.
• Implement BAW scripting and coach logic with JavaScript and ECMAScript.
• Integrate REST and SOAP web services within SOA architectures.
• Work with SQL and PL/SQL in workflow and case management solutions.
• Collaborate in Agile environments using Scrum, Jira, and Kanban.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of professional experience as an IBM BAW Developer.
• Hands-on experience with IBM BAW or IBM ICM is mandatory.
• Experience with IBM Process Designer, including process modeling, service flows, BPDs, and coaches.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services, SOA architecture, JavaScript/ECMAScript, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience with Git and Bitbucket, as well as Agile methodologies and tools.
• Fluent English at B2 level and availability for a hybrid regime based in Lisbon are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java/J2EE for custom service integration and backend extensions.
• Angular experience beyond native BAW coaches.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience documenting solutions with Confluence and Swagger.
