TL;DR
CAD/PLM Support Specialist (Autodesk Inventor/Vault, SolidWorks): Supporting and configuring CAD and PLM platforms, troubleshooting application issues, and contributing to CAD/PLM implementation and improvement projects with an accent on engineering application support, testing, and technical documentation. Focus on root cause analysis, validating releases and system changes, standardizing processes, and coordinating with engineering, business, IT, and external partners.

Location: Pécs, Hungary; hybrid work with office attendance once a week

What you will do

  • Provide second- and third-level support for CAD and PLM applications.
  • Configure and maintain CAD and Autodesk Vault environments.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and document solutions.
  • Participate in CAD/PLM implementation, testing, validation, release, and improvement projects.
  • Identify process standardization and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, business, IT, and external partners while maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience working with CAD and PLM/PDM solutions as a key user, administrator, or support specialist.
  • Understanding of PLM/PDM processes in research, development, and engineering environments.
  • Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault, plus working knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Fluent English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and independent working skills.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is accepted.

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing PLM/PDM or engineering software solutions.
  • Experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, SAP integrations, mCAD-ERP integrations, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Experience with software testing, validation, release management, engineering change management, or BOM processes.
  • Exposure to scripting, automation, APIs, or integration topics.
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
