SOC and Incident Response Lead (Cybersecurity): Leading security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, and threat-led investigations for a global online fashion retailer with an accent on SIEM, EDR, cloud security, forensic analysis, and team leadership. Focus on improving detection coverage, coordinating complex cyber incident responses, conducting post-mortems and threat simulations, and reporting operational metrics to senior management.
Location: HQ in London; the benefits also reference the Leavesden office.

What you will do
- Lead the SOC and Incident Response team, providing technical direction, coaching, prioritization, and operational oversight.
- Own and improve the SOC detection lifecycle by reviewing coverage, tuning alerts, and creating detections from threat intelligence and incident learnings.
- Investigate and coordinate responses to complex security incidents using SIEM, EDR, cloud security, identity, email security, and forensic analysis tools.
- Establish incident response processes, documentation, metrics, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management.
- Run incident response training, tabletop exercises, threat simulations, and post-mortems to improve readiness and prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, cloud security, threat intelligence, and forensic analysis platforms.
- Experience leading complex cyber security incident responses and making decisions under pressure.
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing SOC Analysts and Incident Responders.
- Experience building, tuning, and improving security monitoring, detection engineering, and threat detection capabilities.
- Experience with cloud security environments, particularly Azure and/or AWS.
- Working knowledge of PCI-DSS, GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials.
