Chief Strategy Officer (AI Media)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark. Hybrid role with teams in the office around four days a week.

What you will do

• Set the vision, priorities, and operating agenda for Strategy & Marketing in Denmark.
• Define and drive growth strategy, including market opportunities, competitive positioning, service diversification, and new business models.
• Own strategic contributions across new business, client retention, organic growth, pitch strategy, and new revenue streams.
• Act as senior strategic partner for priority clients, pitches, and complex transformation opportunities.
• Champion AI, WPP technology, WPP Open, and standardized frameworks to improve quality, speed, scalability, and differentiation.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team across strategy, growth, transformation, and marketing.

Requirements

• Extensive senior leadership experience in media, marketing, communications, consulting, technology, or related professional services.
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth, service diversification, client development, and new business performance.
• Strong knowledge of media, communications, data, technology, AI, transformation, and client growth.
• Experience leading senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams at executive level.
• Excellent stakeholder management, client relationship, communication, presentation, judgment, and collaboration skills.
• Experience developing best-practice frameworks, capability-building programs, future leaders, and succession pipelines.
