What you will do
- Lead editorial responsibility for the French and Belgian markets across the Secret Media Network.
- Manage editors, writers, video producers, and social media creatives through 1-on-1s, workflow coordination, feedback, and prioritization.
- Define and execute the network-wide creative vision while maintaining editorial standards, brand identity, and tone of voice.
- Use internal KPIs and audience data to shape content strategy, scalable formats, and audience-growth initiatives.
- Develop editorial partnerships and collaborate with departments, agencies, and external media partners.
- Build and optimize content-driven conversion funnels that connect storytelling, distribution, audience insights, and measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in a newsroom, content agency, creative agency, or digital media company.
- At least 2 years of team management experience and strong leadership skills.
- English proficiency and bilingual or native-level French are required.
- Strong background in journalism, especially local journalism, social media, and digital marketing.
- Hands-on knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and the broader social media landscape.
- Strong writing, presentation, creative, data-analysis, business, and partnership skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with WordPress, Photoshop, Canva, and image or video editing software.
- Established media network contacts and external industry connections.
- Knowledge of optimization technologies, AI-driven processes, and workflow automation.
