Lead Software Engineer (Python, Node.js, AWS, AI/ML)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of complex cloud-based SaaS solutions and large ERP systems.
• Build full-stack features, platform tooling, APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions using modern technologies.
• Design and implement AI-enabled engineering solutions, including LLM-backed workflows, agentic systems, tool-calling patterns, and model evaluation approaches.
• Define technical strategies, architectural guidance, coding standards, and development conventions with product and engineering stakeholders.
• Investigate complex functional, integration, scalability, reliability, and performance issues through analysis and proof-of-concept work.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, technical coaching, and guidance on AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in a product or SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in multiple languages and frameworks, including Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Python, C#, Java, and .NET Core.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and highly available production services.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, containerization, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, test automation, observability, release engineering, and DevOps practices.
• Experience building or guiding LLM and agentic systems, including prompt and context design, tool orchestration, structured outputs, human-in-the-loop validation, retrieval-augmented generation, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of secure design, authentication, authorization, encryption, enterprise application security, technical communication, and engineering mentorship.
