Data Scientist (Growth Monetization)

Location: NYC, on-site in the designated Suno office 5 days per week; applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $220K–$320K annual base salary, plus target equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive monetization across subscription conversion, churn, retention, pricing, packaging, and emerging business models.
• Design and run experiments across pricing, paywalls, offers, and other revenue surfaces.
• Build metrics, funnels, data foundations, and unit economics for new business lines.
• Serve as the lead data scientist for a product area within the centralized data science team.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and data science stakeholders to turn analysis into strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in data science or product analytics, ideally owning a revenue or growth area.
• Advanced SQL, Python, and statistical modeling skills.
• End-to-end experimentation experience with strong statistical rigor.
• Hands-on experience with conversion funnels, churn and retention, pricing and packaging, or new-product economics.
• Strong data science judgment, adaptability in ambiguous environments, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• US work eligibility and availability to work on-site in NYC five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience monetizing multiple product types, including consumer and business or subscription and usage-based products.
• Experience taking a new product or business line from zero to first revenue.
• Hands-on use of AI agents, prompting, or small AI tools in data science work.
• Interest in music or creative tools.
