Location: Full-time, on-site in Austin, Texas for at least 12 consecutive weeks; travel to out-of-state locations in the continental United States may be required for up to two weeks at a time. Candidates must be based in the United States, provide their own housing and daily transportation, and be able to travel with an air-travel-compliant ID and valid driver's license.
Salary: Competitive salary based on technical experience.

What you will do
- Support manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and operation activities for projects.
- Assist with research and logistics for special projects.
- Travel to project sites to support field operations.
- Work with design engineers and manufacturing teams to realize designs in the shop and field.
- Gain practical shop-floor and field operations experience through daily mentorship.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering, or a closely related field.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person compliant with 10 CFR Part 810 and must not hold non-compliant foreign citizenships.
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in Austin for at least 12 consecutive weeks.
- Growth mindset and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and air-travel-compliant identification.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and wear PPE; basic familiarity with powered and manual tools.
Nice to have
- GPA of 3.4 or higher.
- CAD familiarity.
- Hands-on engineering experience through projects, research, internships, student shops, or personal builds.
- Experience with power tools, heavy equipment, and collaboration with technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.
