Field Service Team Lead (Installations) – Essex & Kent, UK (Fixed-Term, Minimum 30 Hours/Week)

Location: Essex and Kent regions, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites. The role involves overnight work and travel to installation sites.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Field Service Technicians during customer-site installations.
• Install, connect, configure, and oversee the installation of camera hardware.
• Conduct site checks and briefings, identify risks, and resolve issues during deployments.
• Act as the primary customer contact, manage escalations, and support SLA delivery.
• Review completed installations, maintain accurate work records, and onboard products into the system.
• Train team members, enforce safety procedures, and meet installation speed and quality KPIs.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience in field service, installation, construction, or a related area, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Ability to lead a small team, manage priorities under time pressure, and maintain installation quality.
• Physical stamina for demanding work on foot for periods of up to nine hours.
• Valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends and travel to customer sites is required.
