TL;DR
Engineering Director (Platform) (Web3/Fintech): Owning the technology strategy, architecture, engineering organization, and reliability of a shared platform powering multiple GoMining products with an accent on distributed systems, scalability, security, and business impact. Focus on building shared authentication, authorization, integrations, analytics, and native application capabilities while leading AI-assisted engineering workflows and balancing architecture, delivery, reliability, and commercial priorities.
Location: Worldwide; remote or hybrid with flexible hours across international teams

What you will do
- Own the platform technology strategy, architecture, roadmap, and major technical decisions.
- Build scalable shared infrastructure, services, integrations, analytics, and capabilities used across multiple products and engineering teams.
- Lead platform reliability, availability, latency, scalability, SLAs, DORA metrics, release stability, and incident-management improvements.
- Prioritize engineering initiatives according to technical risk, business impact, revenue, conversion, customer experience, and product velocity.
- Lead the Platform engineering organization, including team structure, hiring, performance, priorities, execution, and development of technical leaders.
- Introduce AI-assisted workflows across engineering, specifications, QA, analytics, and operations.
Requirements
- Experience as an Engineering Director, Head of Engineering, Head of Platform, VP Engineering, CTO, or in a comparable senior engineering leadership role.
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in architecture and engineering decisions.
- Experience building or operating complex platforms, shared services, or infrastructure used by multiple products or engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, high-load environments, reliability, scalability, incident management, and security.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, integrations, identity, payments infrastructure, or other shared platform capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and agents, plus a strong product, business, and data-driven mindset.

- Experience in fintech, payments, crypto, marketplaces, gaming, or another high-scale technology environment.
