TL;DR
Application Engineer (Hyperion Financial Management): Supporting and enhancing Hyperion Financial Management applications in finance IT operations with an accent on data integration, consolidation, reporting, and financial close activities. Focus on troubleshooting HFM integrations, maintaining metadata and application configurations, supporting audits and corporate transactions, and training end users.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Relocation could be considered. Expatriate assignments will not be considered.

What you will do
- Provide end-to-end support for Hyperion Financial Management, including data integration, report generation, system maintenance, and financial close activities.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to understand requirements and implement HFM enhancements, including support for acquisitions and divestments.
- Support internal and external audit requirements and perform regular updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Develop documentation for HFM processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Design and implement new HFM features, provide end-user training, and troubleshoot application issues.
Requirements
- Professional experience in application engineering with Hyperion Financial Management, including its architecture, modules, data integration, consolidation, and reporting processes.
- Experience with Oracle EPM products such as FCCS, PBCS, Hyperion Planning, and FDMEE.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation.
- Experience with enterprise system integration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ERP integrations such as SAP or Oracle.
- Ability to create and maintain complex financial reports using Hyperion Reports, Smart View, and related tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
