Associate Creative Director, Art (Healthcare)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work with teams in the office an average of four days per week

Salary: $75,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead and inspire art and design teams in developing visual work aligned with creative briefs and client objectives.
• Generate creative concepts and award-worthy recommendations in partnership with Strategy, Copy, Account, Social, UX, and Medical teams.
• Guide design production across digital, print, video, and social media while managing budgets and deadlines.
• Present creative work to clients and explain how designs support strategic and business goals.
• Manage multiple projects across brands, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand project scope.
• Mentor junior art directors and designers.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant client or agency experience, including 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative and conceptual thinking and award-winning design.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and visual communication.
• Ability to translate complex information into engaging and accessible visual designs.
• Confident presentation, collaboration, and client communication skills.
