Lead Analyst - Legal Entity Capital Modelling and Production

What you will do

• Produce, analyze, and present outputs and changes from Group, UK, European, Canadian, and Bermuda legal entity capital models.
• Support quarterly Internal Model baselines for presentation committees and regulators.
• Provide model outputs and analytics for risk reporting, risk appetite monitoring, stress testing, ORSA, capital assessment, reinsurance adequacy, and investment portfolio risk.
• Maintain Internal Model and Standard Formula updates in response to regulatory changes, risk-profile changes, and external developments.
• Integrate production processes across hirify.global’s capital models through common calendars, working practices, quality assurance, tools, and automation.
• Maintain technical issue logs, expert judgment records, sensitivity testing reports, and model documentation.

Requirements

• MSc in a quantitative field, Qualified Actuary qualification, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of capital modelling experience in a general insurance company.
• Experience with Solvency II Internal Models and knowledge of related regulatory regimes.
• Ability to work with senior business partners and Risk Officers and present technical model outputs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, quality-control, and review skills.
• Experience with capital modelling packages, particularly Igloo; Python, R, Matlab, and VBA experience is beneficial.
