Salary: $22.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do
- Perform end-of-life technical procedures on mice, including gross necropsy, restraint, anesthesia, euthanasia, blood collection, and tissue collection.
- Process, label, and store research samples.
- Record study data in the laboratory information management system.
- Read and follow study protocols.
- Prepare studies and organize laboratory supplies, sample tubes, and work areas.
- Work rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in animal science, biology, pharmacology, or a related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills, organization, attention to detail, and process orientation.
- Ability to follow procedures and work collaboratively.
- Ability to perform repetitive manual work, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work routinely around odors, chemicals, sharps, blood, body fluids, and tissue.
Nice to have
- AALAS ALAT certification.
- One year of related experience in a contract research organization or similar research setting.
