Software Engineer Intern (Go)

Location: New York City; local to the NYC headquarters. Hybrid-friendly work environment.

Compensation: $50 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Trading team to define project scope, requirements, and milestones.
• Prepare design documentation and participate in architectural discussions.
• Build Go features for the RFQ system supporting end-to-end OTC workflows, institutional governance, surveillance, and settlement.
• Add analytics and metrics to measure the impact of changes.
• Iterate based on team feedback and demonstrate project progress through regular demos.

Requirements

• Class of 2028 pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one compiled language, such as Go, C++, or Java.
• At least one previous internship working on backend systems in a production environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and self-management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Must be local to the NYC headquarters.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Previous experience with trading systems.
