Bilingual Collections Specialist

Location: Mexico City; on-site

Compensation: MXN $89.33 per hour plus bonus

What you will do

• Make outbound and receive inbound calls with borrowers who have delinquent accounts.
• Identify payment solutions to bring delinquent loans to current status.
• Process payments for borrowers with past-due balances.
• Maintain records of customer contacts, attempted contacts, and payments collected.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection and performance targets.
• Follow collections policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of direct experience in credit and collections.
• Knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, professional, and able to work as part of a team.

• Previous call center experience with financial products.
