What you will do

• Develop new commercial business and expand existing commercial customer relationships.
• Execute business development plans, manage portfolio quality, and work toward financial targets.
• Identify and pursue customer retention, expansion, and acquisition opportunities.
• Build relationships with local businesses, community networks, centers of influence, and bank partners.
• Provide knowledgeable commercial banking advice and solutions while supporting asset quality and profitability.
• Protect customer and bank assets by following policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of relevant lending, sales, or business development experience.
• NMLS registration or successful completion of the NMLS process within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of commercial banking markets, customer needs, competition, regulations, and banking procedures.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, strategic thinking, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed and use Microsoft Office applications.
