Requirements Management Tools Engineer (Polarion/Jama/SQL): Maintaining and extending requirements management tools for global engineering teams with an accent on traceability, reporting, compliance, and tool integration. Focus on designing custom solutions, driving end-to-end tool architecture, coaching engineers, and integrating requirements systems with development tools for DevOps practices.
Location: Katowice, Poland; remote work is not available.

What you will do
- Maintain and administer requirements management tools including Polarion, 3DS, Jama, and R4J.
- Analyze business needs and determine the most suitable requirements management tool for each use case.
- Design and develop custom traceability, implementation-status, and test-status reporting solutions.
- Support and coach engineering staff on tool usage, requirements management, reporting, and best practices.
- Drive the end-to-end architecture, performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of the tooling landscape.
- Integrate requirements management tools with development tools to support DevOps practices and data flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience using and administering requirements management or ALM/PLM tools such as Polarion, 3DS, Jama, DOORS, DOORS Next Gen, CodeBeamer, Requirements Yogy, R4J, or TFS.
- Experience with SQL, JavaScript, or similar technologies for extending tooling functionality.
- Knowledge of aSPICE, ISO 26262, TISAX, or similar standards is advantageous.
- Knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
Nice to have
- Automotive industry experience and knowledge of software quality assurance tools and methods.
- Experience with system testing, safety-critical systems, or system and software architecture.
