Senior Software Development Engineer (Game)

Location: Remote within Latin America; must be available from 8am–3pm Pacific Time and have work authorization in the country of residence.

Salary: Brazil: BRL 18,500–32,500 per month; Colombia: COP 12,000,000–22,250,000 per month; Mexico: MXN 70,000–140,000 per month; Chile: CLP 3,800,000–5,750,000 per month. Compensation for other Latin American countries is determined case by case.

What you will do

• Write clear, well-tested, modular code for game systems and features.
• Architect and implement functionality with attention to performance and maintainability.
• Support game teams with technology choices and carry solutions through implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers through paired programming and code reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers inside and outside the studio to deliver features to players.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional game programming experience.
• Deep knowledge of C++ programming and best practices.
• Experience working in a large, established codebase.
• Flexibility and interest in working across a variety of game systems.
• Fluent English and availability during 8am–3pm Pacific Time are required.
• Work authorization in the country of residence and a stable internet connection are required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Demonstrated passion for games and entertainment.
