General QA Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Cyprus; hybrid work model

What you will do

• Perform feature testing and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Design, develop, execute, and automate test cases using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Maintain and extend the test automation framework for new features and technologies.
• Monitor automated test execution, document results, report defects, and track resolution progress.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software testability.
• Work with developers and QA colleagues to improve test coverage and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Professional QA experience, including creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other QA professionals.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
