What you will do

• Optimize the reliability and efficiency of data ingestion from Kafka, MariaDB, and Segment.
• Maintain and evolve the technical foundation of the Data Platform across on-prem and cloud services.
• Implement and support the new Airflow platform scheduling GCP jobs on Spark and BigQuery.
• Own the monitoring, alerting, and budget management of platform pipelines.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Royalties teams, and ML Engineers to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and propose improvements to the existing tech stack.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Platform Engineering.
• Proficiency with Ops tools including Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes (CI/CD, monitoring).
• Strong experience with Spark/Scala, Python, SQL, BigQuery, and ETL management.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Ability to work in a proactive, organized manner with a strong team spirit.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, Airflow, or Iceberg.
• Knowledge of Kafka and Kafka Connect.
• Familiarity with Grafana or Lookerstudio for visualization and monitoring.
