Reliability Engineer, Task Coordinator (Aerospace)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; must be local to the work location. Flexible for occasional telework.

What you will do

• Perform engineering analysis for reliability, repairability, maintainability, system safety, and related sustainment disciplines.
• Derive reliability needs into system, subsystem, and component requirements for Range Safety solutions.
• Support the architecture, prototyping, implementation, and integration of high-reliability Range Safety systems.
• Develop reliability testing and analysis plans, including statistical assessment of test time and system reliability.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, mission engineers, and subcontractors on technical integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in reliability analysis and data gathering, including statistical extrapolation of test data and failure-criticality analysis.
• Knowledge of Major Range and Test Facility Base operations, range safety standards, Range Commanders Council requirements, and flight-test practices for ICBMs and UAVs.
• Experience managing government and cross-functional relationships, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
