Data & Analytics

Location: Mexico City, Mexico. Hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients; the role includes regular travel and approximately 50% of time may be spent at client sites.

What you will do

• Manage quantitative consulting projects, typically one project for Associate Team Leaders and Team Leaders, or two smaller assignments or one complex assignment for Directors.
• Develop hypotheses, manage data collection, create models, conduct analyses, and perform primary and secondary research.
• Address information limitations creatively and surface actionable insights while overseeing analysts.
• Use partners and the internal network to provide technical and senior-level direction.
• Work with clients to deliver high-quality project outcomes and coach consulting and client team members.
• Maintain team energy, deadlines, and a sustainable work-life balance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, ideally Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, or Engineering.
• Strong analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with advanced analytics and data manipulation software such as R, Python, SAS, SQL, or SPSS.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently under limited supervision while respecting defined timelines.
• Ability to present results, potential issues, and implications effectively.
• Excellent command of English, verbal and written.
• Ability to manage demanding work volumes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality, plus willingness to travel regularly.
• Associate Team Leader: at least 3 years of previous experience in specialised consulting firms, top-tier banking, or financial institutions.
• Team Leader: at least 5 years of previous experience in specialised consulting firms, top-tier banking, or financial institutions.
• Director: at least 8 years of previous experience in specialised consulting firms, top-tier banking, or financial institutions.
