Compliance Manager (Fintech)

Location: Athens, Attiki, Greece; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Coordinate AI governance activities, including AI system inventories, risk classification, compliance assessments, transparency requirements, human oversight controls, and alignment with the EU AI Act.
• Oversee GDPR compliance, including privacy governance, records of processing, DPIAs, data subject rights, breach response, policies, controls, and awareness initiatives.
• Support DORA, NIS2, and ISO compliance by coordinating gap assessments, monitoring ICT and cybersecurity obligations, maintaining evidence, supporting audits, and following up on remediation.
• Assess compliance risks across products, services, and business activities, maintain policies and procedures, and drive corrective actions.
• Support AML/CFT compliance through customer due diligence, screening, suspicious activity escalation, regulatory reporting, and financial crime risk mitigation.
• Provide compliance guidance and training, review customer and third-party contracts, coordinate with Risk, Information Security, and Audit, and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• At least eight years of compliance experience, preferably in technology, fintech, credit servicing, or regulated outsourcing.
• Experience or knowledge in regulatory compliance, GDPR, AI governance, financial services regulation, and Legal Tech.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, integrity, professional judgment, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or equivalent solutions.
