Senior QA Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own release quality across frequent deployments through regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and technical analysis.
• Define end-to-end testing strategies for frontend, backend, APIs, and cross-service integrations across loan origination, payments, and reconciliation.
• Build and maintain UI and API automation frameworks, including Cypress or equivalent tools.
• Design and execute performance and load testing with K6 or equivalent tools.
• Validate distributed workflows, including failure scenarios, retries, idempotency, and cross-system data consistency.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, risk, and compliance teams while mentoring QA engineers and driving quality practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional QA experience, ideally on large-scale or high-traffic platforms.
• Experience defining testing strategies for distributed microservices architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with UI and API test automation, Cypress or an equivalent framework, and performance testing.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, contract testing, SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Xray.
• Risk-based testing mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Application materials must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or other regulated environments.
• Experience with message-based or event-driven systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Python scripting for test tooling and data preparation.
• Experience mentoring QA engineers or leading quality initiatives.
• Familiarity with observability practices for defect analysis.
