Java Fullstack Engineer

Location: Schlieren, Switzerland; hybrid work with the possibility to work from home and regular customer visits approximately 2–3 times per week.

What you will do

• Design and implement customer-specific web and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and translate requirements into high-quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with the development team using pair and mob programming.
• Support the full software lifecycle with a DevOps mindset, from ideation through production.
• Automate quality checks using test-driven development and specification by example.
• Keep current with technology trends and share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience as a Java Developer, with knowledge of object-oriented programming and best practices.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, databases, RESTful APIs, messaging, container orchestration, microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working in agile development teams.
• Fluent German and English at least at C1 level are required.
