Software Engineer (Finance & Procurement Tech)

hirify.global is a software engineering agency under Singapore's Ministry of Defence, developing enterprise digital products.

What you will do

• Design and build full-stack cloud-native applications for finance and procurement workflows.
• Develop reliable APIs and integrations with enterprise systems of record and other business applications.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and maintain technical documentation such as ADRs and RFCs.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and implement observability through logging, metrics, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews and sprint cycles, engage with users, and resolve issues.
• Share engineering practices through internal technical blogs and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• Singapore citizenship is required; only Singapore Citizens will be considered.
• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, software design principles, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, React, Python, relational databases such as MSSQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Familiarity with search engines such as Elasticsearch and observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise systems of record is advantageous, particularly for integrations with custom applications.

• Experience integrating LLM and agentic AI capabilities.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise systems of record.
