Senior Manager – Cybersecurity Operations (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead and mature Security Operations Center activities, threat detection, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Develop defensive playbooks, runbooks, standard operating procedures, security architecture documentation, and network defense diagrams.
• Design defense-in-depth strategies aligned with NIST, DoD, and intelligence community frameworks.
• Evaluate and deploy SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence technologies.
• Establish threat intelligence operations, analyze threat actor tactics using MITRE ATT&CK, and produce technical and executive briefings.
• Coordinate with IT, engineering, program management, government customers, agencies, industry partners, and oversight bodies on security initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience focused on defensive operations and 2+ years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, engineering, intelligence, government, or critical infrastructure sectors and in regulated environments such as DoD, CMMC, NIST 800-171, or ISO 27001.
• Expertise in security monitoring, threat hunting, incident response, APT tactics, network protocols, security architecture, system hardening, and Windows and Linux security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, proxies, threat intelligence platforms, and indicator management.
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Bash, cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GovCloud, and familiarity with malware analysis, reverse engineering, and penetration testing.
• Access to export-controlled information and restricted U.S. Government systems may require applicable U.S. Government authorization, security clearance, citizenship, or other eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Security+, CISSP, GIAC, GSOC, GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, CISA, CEH, or similar senior-level certification.
• Eligibility to keep and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
