TL;DR
QHSE Manager (Chemical Manufacturing): Leading quality, health, safety and environmental management systems at an upper-tier SEVESO manufacturing plant with an accent on regulatory compliance, audits, process safety and quality control. Focus on root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, emergency planning, customer complaints and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Salary: Starting from €67,808 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus.

What you will do
- Maintain and improve Quality, Safety and Environment Management Systems, including document control and internal and external audits.
- Lead the Quality Control team and quality assurance activities across the manufacturing site.
- Manage regulatory compliance, environmental permits, reporting, inspections, complaints and waste management.
- Oversee health and safety processes at an upper-tier SEVESO site, including risk management, accident investigations and emergency planning.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Track QHSE KPIs and drive Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field, with at least 7 years of QHSE experience in a high-risk industry or at an upper-tier SEVESO/COMAH site.
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Environmental Management or equivalent training.
- Knowledge of SEVESO III, hazardous substances, TRGS/ATEX, HAZOP, LOPA, process safety and chemical-industry regulations.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, FMEA, risk assessments and 8D methodology.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English are required.
- Experience with ISO auditing and proficiency in SAP S4 HANA, Power BI, Microsoft Office and Excel.
Nice to have
- Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (Sifa) certification.
- Brandschutzbeauftragter certification.
- Experience managing customer complaints, improvement projects and QHSE teams.
