Mexico Claims Compliance, Performance & Operations Manager (Insurance)

Location: Mexico City; primarily in the office

What you will do

• Manage claims compliance controls, risk assessments, policies, procedures, and regulatory monitoring.
• Oversee contracts, compliance, and performance evaluation for more than 500 claims suppliers.
• Manage first notice of loss operations, data quality, manual data-entry activities, automation, and RPA opportunities.
• Develop business analytics and reporting solutions using claims data to support management decisions.
• Map and evaluate claims processes, identify operational deficiencies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with claims handlers, line managers, and other insurance functions on operational and compliance priorities.

Requirements

• Academic background in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• More than 5 years of experience in operations, process management, auditing, or quality control within banking, insurance, or financial services.
• Deep understanding of the insurance industry, claims processes, claims vendors, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with process mapping, risk management, policies and procedures, anti-money laundering, information security, and data protection.
• Knowledge of statistical quality control, Lean, Kaizen, Total Quality Control, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, data management, communication, synthesis, and situational leadership.

Nice to have

• Audit-related specialization or experience.
• Experience with Solvency II, governance committees, quality control projects, or system implementation initiatives.
