Part-Time Substitute Teacher (Up to $144 Daily)

Location: Shallotte, North Carolina, United States, and surrounding areas in Brunswick County

Salary: $14–$18 per hour, up to $144 per day

What you will do

• Cover for teachers during vacations, illnesses, and personal leave.
• Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care and learning experiences for children ages 0–5.
• Lead educational games, arts and crafts, music, meals, outdoor play, and other activities.
• Work with teachers and follow guidance from the onsite program director.
• Communicate with families about children’s days and progress.
• Complete hirify.global training and onboarding.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience in childcare, teaching, or working with children ages 0–5.
• Have a high school diploma or GED, CDA credential, EDU 119 Early Childhood Credential, ECE associate or bachelor’s degree, or at least one year of experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Be patient, dependable, and motivated to support young children.
• Pass a state background check and complete a TB test and physical.
