Salary: $150,000–$187,500 gross annual base salary in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island

What you will do

• Design customized Redis-powered database solutions that address customer technology and business requirements.
• Understand, quantify, and validate customer use cases and business needs.
• Lead customer proofs of concept, pilots, challenges, and technical evaluations.
• Collaborate with customer architects, developers, PMOs, and C-level stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Partner with Sales on account strategies, new opportunities, and expansion within existing accounts.
• Present Redis capabilities and provide product, best-practice, and technical feedback to Product Management and R&D.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, ideally with database engineering and enterprise software.
• Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux.
• Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, listening, and collaboration skills.
