What you will do

• Implement the Adolescent Support and Counseling Services program at assigned middle and high school locations.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of referred adolescents and families.
• Develop individualized service plans with tailored goals, methods, and techniques.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as needed.
• Promote resiliency, reduce mental health disorders and adolescent substance abuse, and develop general life skills.
• Coordinate community drug awareness campaigns and engage garrison command and other key stakeholders on adolescent substance-use trends.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited university; counseling programs must have CACREP accreditation.
• Required drug and alcohol certification, such as MRAS, CSAC, CAP, or equivalent.
• Independent clinical licensure as an LCSW, LMHC/LPC, LMFT, or clinical/counseling psychologist with a PhD-level clinical license.
• Behavioral health work experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records and ability to operate computers, phones, and related office equipment.
• Ability to work under time pressure and maintain productivity for extended periods.
