Engineer, R&D Software Engineering (C#/.NET)

Location: Remote or hybrid in Hungary

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable applications and services using C# and .NET.
• Build RESTful APIs and optimize SQL Server performance.
• Develop frontend features with Angular and contribute to the unified cloud platform for eCOA solutions.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD workflows for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps through technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, document operational decisions, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise-grade software.
• Strong professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience developing single-page applications with Angular or another modern TypeScript framework.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, modular architectures, and scalable backend services.
• Ability to prioritize work, communicate effectively, and lead technical outcomes.
