What you will do

• Develop, test, and improve machine learning, NLP, and generative AI solutions for healthcare and life sciences applications.
• Work with real-world datasets and implement machine learning solutions in Python.
• Contribute to production-oriented AI systems and model evaluation.
• Collaborate with experienced Machine Learning Engineers and Researchers while learning modern ML techniques.

Requirements

• Master’s degree completed or near completion in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline.
• A completed Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Solid understanding of train, validation, and test datasets, cross-validation, overfitting and underfitting, model evaluation, classification, regression, feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and basic statistical reasoning.
• Python programming experience and experience working with datasets and implementing machine learning solutions.
• Availability for full-time work in Warsaw, Poland.

Nice to have

• Research, thesis, university, hackathon, open-source, personal project, internship, or work experience in NLP or Generative AI.
• Experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, or advanced model evaluation.
