Accounts Receivable Analyst (Finance)

Location: Hybrid (Remote/Office) in Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Manage daily Accounts Receivable transactions and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Perform manual and automated payment allocation, resolve unallocated or problematic amounts, and support payment allocation tools.
• Process approved subledger corrections, manage differences and write-offs, and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records.
• Conduct customer account reconciliations, process balance confirmations and dunning letters, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Prepare KPI and Accounts Receivable reports while supporting internal controls, audits, and process documentation.
• Contribute to process standardization, automation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable Accounting and Finance Operations, with a basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong communication skills, ownership, and an open, collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel for knowledge transfer, training sessions, and workshops when required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting.
• Understanding of SAP business processes.
• Experience with transition and transformation projects.
