German Speaking Civil Site Engineer (f/m/d) - Projects Abroad (Civil Engineering/Power Plants): Overseeing and coordinating civil construction works for large-scale international power plant projects with an accent on subcontractor supervision, site progress, quality, safety, and cost control. Focus on executing complex industrial construction scopes, resolving technical and organizational challenges, and coordinating multidisciplinary project stakeholders across domestic and international sites.
Location: Vienna, Austria; project-based work requires travel to construction sites domestically and abroad. Relocation to the headquarters is not required.
Minimum salary: €62,609.54 gross per year for a full-time position, with higher compensation possible based on experience, expertise, and skills.

What you will do
- Oversee the defined scope of civil works, ensuring safe, high-quality, timely, and cost-efficient execution.
- Supervise subcontractors through site inspections, coordination meetings, progress tracking, and quality oversight.
- Support the planning and execution of site operations on complex industrial and power plant projects.
- Monitor site progress and complete standardized progress measurements with contractors and consortium partners.
- Ensure compliance with occupational, environmental, health, and safety requirements and promote the Zero Harm culture.
- Coordinate with civil teams, customers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical and organizational challenges.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in civil engineering or a similar technical field.
- At least 3 years of on-site experience in construction.
- Experience with complex industrial construction projects, preferably combined-cycle power plant, turnkey, or consortium partner projects.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS policies, practices, regulations, and plans for complex construction sites.
- Professional working proficiency in English and German is required.
- Ability to work on energy projects lasting several months or longer and travel to project sites.
