Test Lab Engineer

Location: Onsite in Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Standard hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional night-shift work to support test events. Minimal travel is required.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Test Lab Integration Team during ground test events.
• Coordinate laboratory activities, communications, and decisions on next steps.
• Manage laboratory configuration and apply configuration management practices.
• Create reports and technical documentation.
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform basic engineering troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Previous experience as a test engineer in a laboratory environment.
• U.S. citizenship and an active, in-scope Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, are required.
• Knowledge of one or more elements of the Missile Defense System.
• Experience with documentation and configuration management, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with customers, adapt to changing requirements, identify efficiency opportunities, and solve problems effectively.

Nice to have

• Test plan creation experience.
• Knowledge of the MDA Advanced Research Center or other MDA integration laboratories.
• Linux systems experience.
• Experience working in secure spaces.
