Product and Process Engineering Manager (MedTech)

What you will do

• Manage the Product and Process Engineering group and provide day-to-day technical guidance on problem identification, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Supervise and mentor technical support associates and engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity, efficiency, and process capability initiatives.
• Plan and manage engineering projects covering new product introduction, life cycle management, and supplier material changes.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical support, project schedules, product and process requirements, budgets, and capital expense forecasts.
• Support validation activities and represent Ethicon during internal, corporate, and FDA validation audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; a master’s degree is desirable.
• At least 6 years of applicable experience.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills required.
• Availability for first-, second-, or third-shift schedules, 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with engineering practices, process control, validation, GMP, ISO compliance, and technical documentation.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency with software applications.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification.
• Puerto Rico Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer license.
• Master’s degree in Engineering.
